Iowa River Landing to Welcome New Businesses This Fall & Winter
Coralville, IA – The Iowa River Landing continues to grow and expand its shopping options, with more additions joining the neighborhood this fall and in early 2024, two of which will move into the new Staybridge building. The upscale, mix-used neighborhood is preparing to welcome AllSpice Culinarium, Hokkaido Ramen House, Ekin Nutrition and Modern Market Eatery.
AllSpice Culinarium, which opened its first location in Des Moines’ East Village in 2010, will open its second storefront this fall in the former EVOLVE space on East 2nd Ave. AllSpice offers a selection of nearly 500 herbs, spices, blends, oils and specialty culinary products from all over the world.
Hokkaido Ramen House, which has more than 30 franchises across the country, will open its first Iowa location in the former Fuzzy’s Taco Shop location at 201 E 9th Street. Hokkaido offers authentic Japanese cuisine in a casual, pub-style atmosphere. Their menu will offer Ramen with house-made broth, boba teas and sushi rolls.
Ekin Nutrition, which first opened in 2008 and has a location in Clive, offers personalized nutrition coaching and health supplements. Ekin Nutrition will be one of the first storefronts opening in the new Staybridge building and will be approximately 1,300 square feet.
Modern Market Eatery, which has more than 30 franchises across the country, will also open in the new Staybridge Building. Their menu offers salads, protein bowls, pizza, breakfast and more. Modern Market is set to open in early 2024 in their 3,460-square-foot space.
Those businesses join five others that have already opened or are set to open in 2023, including Blue Agave Mexican Restaurant, The GYM and X-Golf Simulator.
Also, Beno’s Flowers, which opened its first location in downtown Iowa City in 2018, will occupy the former Skin Body Soul space during the holiday season with a special pop-up shop, offering fresh local flowers, custom bouquets, and holiday decor.
“With these new additions, we’ve added ten new businesses to the neighborhood in 2023 and early 2024,” said Deanna Printy, Iowa River Landing Property Manager. “We’re thrilled to begin adding diverse tenants to the new Staybridge building and to continue to expand what the IRL has to offer.”
