Skin Body Soul to Open Third Location in the Iowa River Landing

Popular medspa to offer a wide range of medical-grade beauty treatments, with discounts for members.

Skin Body Soul, a medical spa with an innovative customer service model, is coming to the Iowa River Landing this fall with plans for a Grand Opening in early November 2020. The West Des Moines-based company, which also operates a location in Ankeny, will be located across from 30Hop in the space formerly occupied by Massage Heights.

Skin Body Soul is a membership-based medical spa offering plans to help its customers reverse the effects of aging. All treatments are nonsurgical and noninvasive, and include cosmetic injections, fat reduction treatments, wrinkle relief, skin tightening, rejuvenation and facial resurfacing, laser hair removal and eyelash solutions. Skin Body Soul also sells a variety of luxury, medical-grade skin and lash care products.

Skin Body Soul is North America’s first membership-based medical spa, which makes cutting-edge treatments affordable through a flat monthly fee, fulfilling the company’s mission of “Limitless Beauty for All.” Treatments are also available a la carte to non-members, and many services are offered for only $99 the first time you try them. Memberships are honored at all three of Skin Body Soul’s Iowa locations. 

“We had a lot of customers who were driving two or more hours to visit us, often from Eastern Iowa,” said Skin Body Soul President, Angela Carter. “It was time to open another location to better serve those customers, and we were really drawn to the Iowa River Landing and the other shops in the neighborhood like lululemon. It feels like the perfect fit, and we’re excited to begin welcoming new members in the fall.”

According to Carter, Skin Body Soul is planning to launch in early November, and will offer 20 free units of Botox, an Allergan cosmetic treatment, to the first 100 new members.
