Tasting Station Offers Wines Categorized
by Style & Taste for Unique Retail Experience
WineStyles Tasting Station announces plans to open a location at Iowa River Landing in Spring/Summer 2014.
WineStyles Tasting Station offers a unique retail wine experience and warm ambiance, reminiscent of an old-world wine cellar. Wines are categorized by style and taste, rather than variety or region, which helps simplify the shopping experience. Each section includes a rotation of unique labels and hard-to-find wines from both small and large vineyards around the world, and each bottle is accompanied by a description of the wine’s characteristics, flavors and suggested food pairings.
“We are excited about the interest we have received regarding the revamped model and believe the Iowa River Landing location, and the surrounding community, is an ideal fit for us,” said Jeff McGinness, Director of Franchise Development. “The growing appreciation for wine and craft beers, coupled with the growing ‘foodie’ culture in the corridor made the decision a no-brainer.”
WineStyles Tasting Station IRL will feature a full wine bar with dozens of wines by the glass and a selection of food, craft beers, fine chocolates, and cheese. The store will offer a variety of gifts and wine accessories including customizable gift baskets, monthly wine clubs, a frequent buyer program, and craft beers of the month clubs. WineStyles at Iowa River Landing will host wine tastings, winery spotlights, wine education, private parties, and other events.
