“Things are picking up quicker than we originally thought,” City Administrator Kelly Hayworth said. “We’re excited about opportunities coming up in the next year for additional new projects in that area.”
As the 180-acre area adjacent to Interstate 80 fills out and plans for some of the vacant properties coming to light, it’s inching toward becoming a city within a city, which will one day have even more residential units and restaurants, as well as shopping and even health care.
