Xtream Arena is a multi-purpose facility in the core of our neighborhood. This venue serves as the home of the ECHL Iowa Heartlanders, the University of Iowa Women’s volleyball and gymnastics teams, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union State Volleyball and Wrestling and Iowa High School Athletic Association State Duals. This unique facility has the flexibility to host a number of athletic events and tournaments, from wrestling and basketball to indoor football and soccer, in addition to concerts and special events such as graduation ceremonies.
In addition to the Arena, the facility also includes The GreenState Family Fieldhouse with five basketball courts, and a turf space. The Johnson County Historical Society and the Antique Car Museums have new facilities in the lower level of the Arena facility, along with additional mixed-use retail.
Xtream Arena and the GreenState Family Fieldhouse are a one-of-a-kind facility in the Midwest bringing in new athletic competitions and tournaments.
