Coralville and the Iowa River Landing are excited to host RAGBRAI July 24th 2015, the final night of the event. Planning is underway, and our wonderful community is working hard to ensure our visitors will be treated to an awesome stay!
Details are still emerging, but here’s a breakdown of the information we have so far:
Cue the paparrazi! The glitz and glamour of Hollywood will be front and center with this year’s theme “Ride the Red Carpet.” Members of the RAGBRAI Hospitality committee will be hard at work transforming Coralville’s celebration into an ode to Tinseltown.
Cheap Trick presented by Two Rivers Bank and Trust is scheduled to perform as the headlining act in the Iowa River Landing on July 24th. Tickets for the concert will be $10 for the general public, and anyone wearing the official RAGBRAI wristband can enter for free.
The entertainment and music will start at 4 PM, with the Slap’n’Tickle band taking the stage to kick off an evening of great entertainment. Gimmick will play at 6, and The Swing Crew will close out the evening of great music, playing in the beverage garden from 10-Midnight.
Over 500 volunteers will be needed to make this year’s RAGBRAI a success. You can visit the RAGBRAI Coralville websiteto learn more about volunteer opportunities. There are several committees to choose from, including:
